Heat created by HDD while kept in the sealed space is highly radiated through specially designed structure of the Smart Drive. Why don’t you try to install Smart Drive into PCs at your office? There is no other product which makes you experience the Return on Investment. 
When booting-up PC, HDD produces some jarring High Frequency sound. And while writing on HDD, it causes some scratching sound. Those are the Noise. If you use PC in the night away from street sound, you practically realize how the sound is noisy enough. Have many PCs in the office? The Noise caused by the PC in the office is reduced surprisingly and you notice the effect at once  When booting-up PC, HDD creates Heat. In case of shielding the HDD in the Smart Drive, Radiation of the Heat and the Cooling of the HDD are the most important matters. In order to avoid any trouble such as Malfunction & Inferior of the HDDs, the enclosures are made of Aluminum and Copper which have high thermal conductivity. And there are special arrangements so that the HDD Heat can be conducted to the Enclosure efficienty. Ultra High Speed 15000rpm HDDs are also available. HDD Temperature in the Smart Drive occasionally less than the one without the Enclosure, however depends on the conditions. An HDD runs hot at the time of operation. When I stored away an HDD in SMART DRIVE of sealing up structure, it is important that I radiate heat and cool off heat of an HDD.
 High Velocity Rotation of the HDD Plate brings the Vibration which conducts to PC Case and cause Resonance which create the Noise. PC Enclosures generally being sold are produced with 0.2mm thickness steel and have further possibility of Resonance rather than before. In order to prevent the Vibration, there are some methods to put some shock absorbents or use some Large Mass materials. Inside of the Smart Drives assembled with Shock-Absorbing materials and the Enclosure itself is designed to be large specific gravity.
